My story
My passion for animals started at a very young age with our first family dog, Ruby, who was a member of our family when I was born. Over the years I have had a number of pets ranging from dogs and cats to rats. Each one of my pets has left a special place in my heart.
I spent my summers as a teenager working in my local pet shop, which combined my love of pets with a growing love of working with people to offer them help and advice.
After completing my Master's Degree I worked within the pet industry as a Product Manager developing a range of products for our furry friends. This was a valuable experience liaising with pet owners and industry experts to develop educational toys and nutritional foods for a range of animals from birds to cats.
I am a qualified animal first aider. During my life I have also rescued a number of animals including several stray dogs, cats and even hedgehogs.
I am also a lover of the sea and enjoy snorkelling and diving when I can. I really love the peace and tranquillity of the ocean and the bounty of wildlife beneath the waves.
I set up Pawsome Walks in 2017, and nearly ten years on I still get the same buzz from every wag, woof and wet nose.
